1) Appointment & Cancellations

All Modality Spa staff are trained and approved by the company’s treatment protocols, and therefore Modality Spa does not guarantee continued treatment with a named staff member.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require 48 hours notice. Failure to give this notice will result in you being charged a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be equivalent to the full treatment cost. This will also result in you paying for all future treatments in advance. Clients who have purchased a course of treatments but fail to attend their appointment will be charged for their missed treatment.

For cancellations or to reschedule your appointment, please call the clinic in which your appointment is to take place and speak to a Modality Spa team member. Answer phone messages will not be accepted.

Please arrive for your appointment at least 10 minutes in advance so that the necessary paperwork can be completed. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of your appointment. Modality Spa will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs on time; however, from time to time this may not happen due to constraints beyond our control and we, therefore, reserve the right to cancel or postpone your appointment at a short notice.

Before your appointment, we will inform you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged.

If you pay for treatment upfront in the clinic you will not get this refunded if you change your mind. However, you do have the option and you can use the amount you have paid towards another treatment.

2) Credit Card Details, Payments and Deposits

A deposit of £25 for services < £100 and a deposit of £75 for services> £100 is due by cash or will be charged to your credit or debit card at the time of booking, to secure the appointment.

  • The deposit will go towards the cost of the treatment on the day of your appointment.
  • All treatment bookings must be paid for in full, on arrival at the clinic, before treatment commences.
  • Purchased courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please be aware the deposit is non-refundable.

3) Course of Treatments

All treatments which are purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment.  All treatments must be taken or booked within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left un-taken or un-booked after 12 months will be forfeited. If you don’t follow a recommended treatment course and or aftercare, results may not be gained or be as visible and Modality Spa cannot be held responsible. Results will vary from individual to individual and cannot be guaranteed. This is subject to your diet and lifestyle and any medical conditions that you may have.

4) Treatment Suitability

We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, before any treatment being carried out. If not, we will inform you as to the reasons why. You will only be liable for the cost of the initial consultation, where applicable.

5) Refusal of Treatment

We have the right to refuse you treatment without reservation. If you do not advise us of any medical conditions that may hinder you from having the treatment we reserve the right to refuse treatment to you and charge you fully for the cancellation.

6) Liability

Modality Spa will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services that we offer to the client.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provides a skin spa with all relevant medical history and pre-existing medical conditions before each treatment.

Modality Spa will not be liable for any damage including personal injury sustained as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by or on behalf of My skin spa regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Modality Spa liability for death or any personal injury resulting from Modality Spa negligence or any of its agents.

7) Special Offers / Vouchers

Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer – discounts only apply against the recommended retail price (RRP).

When a booking is made with a voucher, the voucher is non-refundable and non-transferable. Failure to turn up to your appointment will result in forfeiting your voucher. 48 hours notice is required to reschedule your voucher booking. Management decisions are final and are not open for discussion.

8) Receiving Emails / Letters From Third Party Businesses

Modality Spa and their associated organisations have the right to charge a fee which will be decided on each case to respond to any letters or emails or provide documentation requested by third parties, such as solicitors, image agencies, government bodies, and so on. If you do decide to make the first contact, you or the company you represent agree to these terms and conditions and accept the charges we invoice to you or the company that is acting on your behalf including but not limited to solicitors.

9) Deposits

100% fee will be charged in the event of a no-show. Deposits are non-refundable unless you are unable to proceed with the treatment for medical reasons.

10) Form Submissions

After enquiring using a form on the site, your details will be stored in our secure database. You may receive occasional news and offers from Modality Spa, which you can opt-out of at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email. Modality Spa will never give your details to third parties.
