Modality Medical Spa
Modality Medical Spa offers holistic care to clients in medical dermatology, minor operations, aesthetic medicine and beauty treatments.
We provide services to both NHS and private patients. Our dedicated team are trained in delivering care for both NHS patients and private patients, ensuring a bespoke treatment plan and continuity of care is created.
We draw on this knowledge to provide quality, high standards of care and aesthetic practice which has received the highest CQC recognition.

Modality Medical Spa – Birmingham
The clinic is located on the first floor (with lift access) above Blue Cross Pharmacy and there is an entrance door on the main road, next to the chemist.
Bus: 74 and 75 available from town near Priory Square – bus stops along Soho Road, nearest bus stop opposite Iceland.
74 is also available from West Bromwich.
Car Parking is available around Soho Road nearby to the Clinic.

The clinic is located on the High St (with lift access) and there is an entrance door on the side of the building as you walk up the ramp.

Dr Naresh Rati
MBChB MRCGP DRCOG DPD
Naresh Rati has been a specialist in dermatology for over fifteen years. He is the clinical lead for the NHS Modality Dermatology Service. He has lectured Nationally and Internationally on all aspects of skin problems.
He has a particular interest in laser treatments and surgical procedures and is a recognised dermatology trainer to other practitioners.
He is a member of the British Medical Laser Association as well as being an Associate member of the British Association of Dermatologists and British College of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr Rashmi Chauhan
MBBS MRCGP Diploma in Minor Surgery
I am GP Partner at St Johns Medical Centre. My expertise, passion and special interest lies in minor surgery and aesthetics. I have received, and continue to receive, excellent feedback from my patients regarding their cosmetic outcomes. I have twenty years experience in general practice. My clinical work encompasses a spectrum of roles. I am a GP trainer and continue to be actively involved in teaching GP Registrars, FY2 doctors, as well as medical students. I am a qualified Clinical Appraiser and appraise other doctors on an annual basis. I am a trained and accredited provider of joint injections. I have specialist expertise in dealing with Child Health. I am a local Safeguarding Lead for patients. I am a strong advocate for patient-centred care.
Dr Thuva Amuthalingam
MBCHB, MRCGP
Thuva is an advanced cosmetic doctor with many years of experience. He is a qualified General Practitioner with a special interest in dermatology and minor surgery. He joined the Modality Medical Spa team in 2020 and also works across the Modality NHS dermatology service.
As a national trainer for Derma Medical, he has a wealth of experience in facial sculpting and reversing the signs of aging. With a keen interest in research particularly in the surgical field, he is a published author. He has presented at numerous international conferences and delivered keynotes speeches
Dr Sonakshi Khorana
MBCHB, MRCGP, PGDip Clinical Dermatology
Dr Sonia is a GP and Community Dermatology Doctor. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, assisted in reviewing the safety of cosmetic product ingredients in an up and coming skincare range and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology with Distinction from Queen Mary University London.
Dr Sonia provides a wide range of medical, injectable and laser aesthetic treatments and has a holistic approach to anti-ageing and wellness. She has a keen eye for detail and combines her experience in medicine with her skills in aesthetics and dermatology to deliver high quality and safe treatments which create natural looking results.
She is passionate about body positivity and helping people feel more confident and empowered in their own skin. Dr Sonia writes about improving skin health and skin education on her Instagram page @dermgp.
Dr Deepti Jindal
Dr Deepti Jindal completed her training in India. During this period, out of her passion for dermatology, she completed extensive training in cosmetic dermatology and then practiced as a Cosmetic Practitioner, performing all forms of cosmetic dermatology treatments to people from all walks of life.
Deepti moved to the UK 13 years ago and undertook the Diploma in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University.
Raheela Parveen
Raheela (Rye) is an Aesthetic Practitioner and fully qualified Beauty Therapist, she has worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years and is passionate about beauty, nails and threading.
She is a trained laser technician, specialising in laser hair removal and as a skincare specialist.She performs many beauty therapy treatments including: light chemical peels, facials including hydra-dermabrasion, waxing, threading and gel nail manicures.
